Bosch Injectors to Suit the Focus RS Mk2 and the Focus / Volvo ST225 engines
These Higher Flow 1500cc Bosch Injectors utilize a multi-orifice tip for improved mixture preparation and atomization. This results in lower Fuel Consumption per BHP and better idle quality than many single-hole disc ‘custom machined’ pencil stream injectors with less flow.

Our own demo 400bhp Focus RS had been using the old pencil stream single hole custom machined type of injector for some time. A simple swap over to these was all that was needed to help power fuel consumption and low-speed driveability.

The risks of bore wash and poor atomization have not yet been realized at this early stage in the Focus RS mk2 life cycle. We believe these new injectors will help guard against expensive engine rebuilds later in the car’s life by utilizing a much better and original equipment spray pattern, just the way that Ford and Volvo intended.
