What is the difference to the Stage 1 unit ?
The older Stage 1 Hybrid Turbo used the OE internal exhaust turbine and shaft assembly which has a restrictive flow limit close to 450 bhp. Even when using an uprated compressor wheel the Stage 1 cannot push more than 450bhp.
The New Stage 2 Focus RS Mk2 Turbocharger unit utilizes a much larger K24 exhaust turbine wheel, and increases the size of the compressor wheel with a full theoretical flow of 520-525 bhp
More flow = More Torque = More Power
