They feature a 8.5:1 compression ratio and hard anodized ring grooves along with MAHLE double coating of dry phosphate to prevent micro-welding and pin galling and Grafal anti-friction coating. Forged from MAHLE proprietary M142S alloy these parts have the low noise characteristics of 4032 alloy with the strength of 2618.
